It's not very often that we catch someone driving down our driveway. We usually don't see them until they're actually parked and at the front door, but the other morning, Cash was chasing B, and he stopped and yelled, "U-P-S truck!" Of couse, B said it, too in his little parrot voice. They both ran to the windows and pressed their noses to them. How exciting! (Yes, it doesn't take much!)
The UPS man pulled his truck up close, walked two boxes into the garage and set them inside the back door. My little guys waved and said, "Hi!" (all while half dressed) at the UPS man, and then Cash ran to get his scissors.
I helped him use the scissors to open the boxes. What was inside? It doesn't matter what was shipped in the boxes, all that mattered to Cash and B was the abundance of plastic "poppy-things" that came with it.
As you can tell, that plastic "poppy-things" were what kept my boys busy and playing for about an hour.
Cash tried to pop some on his own. He decided that "daddy have to help me."
They wrapped themselves in them. Too much fun!
Cash tried again at popping some. No success.
B just liked sitting in the middle of them all.
What simple fun! And unexpected, too! I wasn't expecting this box until later in the week.
This "cheese" says, I love plastic "poppy-things."
After awhile of sitting in them, wrapping themselves in them, and trying to pop them, they each grabbed one and ran around the house with them flying through the air.
Daddy came home that night, and there was a lot of popping going on! Cash loved it, B tolerated it.
Oh, me. If you're looking for a last minute Christmas present for these two, here's an idea!
