Yet another concrete post

So I haven't posted anything to this blog for nine months. I had decided that I was done with the blog, for awhile at least. I wanted to spend the time working on photo books that I could print out. Have I? Sadly, no, and now I am nine months behind on documenting the lives of our sweet boys. *sigh*

Am I back to blogging? Probably not. I may post some pictures here and there, but not every event and picture that I take. But I decided that I couldn't let a summer go by without pictures of my three guys pouring concrete. It just wouldn't be right, right? I mean, it's seriously a part of them. Just as Heath grew up around concrete trucks, trowels, pins, knee boards, come-alongs and edgers, our boys will, too.

Cash has his own trowel this time and was definitely ready. Heath was pouring a pad across some pipe on our new driveway to the basement and also an apron to a barn for our neighbor.

Ready for it to come down the chute

They were two small pours, but it kept Heath busy going from one site to the other. The boys were excited because Heath promised them some of their own to "finish."

Here it comes down the chute!

And this was the pile that Heath had them pour out for the boys. It was actually some of the extra that Heath had them pour in areas to help with drainage, but the boys didn't care. They got to get their boots in the mud and do some work.
