The first week in July was a hot, hot one. I had been trying to get a playdate scheduled with one of my good friends and her two girls. Things hadn't been working out, but we finally found a time when it would work. It just so happened to be one afternoon when it was crazy hot, but my boys and her oldest, AR, didn't mind a bit. AR's Pepaw had just built her an awesome playset for the backyard, and my two boys wanted to "go see that swing and slide."
I didn't get a picture of the whole swingset to show how awesome it was, but here's a shot of lil' man climbing up the ladder to slide down.

Anne Rhoades was so sweet to share her new playset with the boys. Cash and AR are only two months apart, and at times, are pretty good buddies.
B loved the inside "room" part of the playset, but he had fun on the slide, too.
Oh, yes, and anytime kids get together, there must be some time set aside to play with sticks! :)
