A day at Gran-Granny's

Last Tuesday, I decided to pack the boys up and head to Roseville (just outside Glasgow) to visit Gran-Granny. We hadn't been in weeks and the boys needed adjustments from dad, so it was a good time to make the short drive.

Before we left, we HAD to pack up two dump trucks, a shovel, a baseball bat, a baseball and the tee. We also brought along our box of play sand that we bought the day before. But of course, Cash's favorite thing to play with at Gran-Granny's house is her backhoe. He talked about it all the way to Glasgow.

Aren't these gorgeous? My aunt Kathy and Granny grow them every year and sell them in the fall. Interested? It's just a short drive, and they are so much cheaper and much bigger and fuller than anything you'll find in town.

These are my favorite. I didn't know they had these this year though, and had already asked for yellow and orange for my front porch.

Cash seriously had to be drug inside for lunch. Dirt and a backhoe, how dare I take him away from it!

This is where B wanted to play. Gran-Granny has a slide and climb-on toy closer to the house that he drove his smaller backhoe around. It took many trips down the slide.

There's Gran-Granny playing with B just before lunch!

After seeing aunt Kathy and much more fun outside on the beautiful day, we headed to Glasgow for adjustments before driving back to Glasgow.

Those are some pretty mums in the pictures, LOL. I love it when you bring the boys to Roseville and my heart melted when Baylen said "hey kaffy"...come back soon.
