Scripture and color

You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, - Deut. 11:18-20

When my sister made garden stakes for me for my birthday (notice the cucumber in the background), I also asked her to make a plaque with scripture on it, too. I picked this verse because it talked of sowing and reaping - appropriate for a garden. It's Heath and I's goal to have scripture on the walls of our home to keep us accountable and share it with our boys.

As for the purple garden cage, I just thought it would make our typical garden a bit more fun and funky (plus they were more sturdy than the regular wire ones).
