Birthday evening

By B's birthday evening, he had a non-stop, dry cough. He was in pretty good spirits, though, especially when we mentioned some presents. We had a new plan that involved opening a few presents, going to his favorite restaurant for supper, and then heading to the Carousel at the mall.

Here's the birthday boy with his presents.

Big brother helped him because he needed lots of help, right? No, Cash just pitched in because it seemed that B wasn't moving fast enough for him. We kept reminding Cash that it was B's birthday, not his, but lil B didn't seem to mind too much.

Yay, it's a Magna Doodle! It's official term here at the house is a "Doodle Eraser" though.

Strange, what could this be? Actually, B was pretty slow at opening his presents. That's okay though!

There's that helping big brother again. A huge frisbee! Wow!

This is the present Cash picked out, helped wrap and hid for two whole days for his little brother. He seriously saw it advertised on TV and told me that it was what he wanted to get Baylen for his birthday.

It's a Pillow Racer! B loves it, but I think Cash loves it more. They named it Fluffy, much to Heath's disappointment.

A happy, happy birthday boy!

We left for Moe's (yes, it is Baylen's favorite - or actually it's a toss up between Moe's and Puerto's), and had a great supper there. We wanted to do something special for dessert, but B can't have ice cream and his kid's meal at Moe's came with a huge chocolate chip cookie, so.... we went to Stakz where Heath and I got frozen yogurt (chocolate with Heath topping) and the boys ate their big cookies. Then it was off to the mall.

The boys always want to ride the same ones. B picks the black cat with a fish in its mouth,

and Cash rides the tiger.

It wasn't exactly the carousel at the zoo, but it was good enough for B!

Heath took this picture with his phone when we were done - mommy and birthday boy

And this is how he ended his birthday - all tuckered out!
