They finally have a spot

After Heath and I got married, he moved in to the house that I had bought a few years before on Covington Street in Bowling Green. He had sold some of his furniture and things, but brought quite a bit with him, including his Tabasco bottle collection. Yes, lots of lots of empty Tabasco bottles were stored in plastic bags. I'm not sure how many there were, but he put them in the basement and added to the collection while we lived there. He always said that if and when he ever built a house, he would make sure he had a place for his Tabasco bottle collection.

And now, they finally have a spot.

Heath and dad had built some shelves in the basement for our canned goods; green beans, tomatoes, salsa, jellies, etc. Heath painted them black and then we started slowly filling them with jars and boxes. A few weeks ago, he came upstairs from the basement and asked me to come see something. He had a silly grin on his face. I followed him downstairs and he showed me what he had done. From one end to the other, Tabasco bottles lined the top shelf with his other random hot sauce bottles at the far right. To say Heath is a happy and content hot sauce bottle collector is an understatement. :)
