Did he really need a haircut?
His "long hair" was driving Heath crazy.
Me? I was being the typical mother who didn't want her "baby" to grow up.
I guess it's still undecided whether he needed one, but last Tuesday, November 29th, Baylen Neal got his first haircut.
Here's the before picture, ketchup on his face and all. :)
Cash got his haircut first. It was no question. He really needed one, and it was a good example for Baylen. We made sure he was watching big brother. Calm and cool, playing and stacking curlers. No big deal.
Trust me. It hasn't always been this smooth. He's come a long way, and Freda is golden!
Waiting for his turn, B sat with Kennick in Grandad's lap and waved to the other customers.
Then it was his turn! Yes, that's me video-taping. Even though we haven't used our video camera with B as much as we did with Cash (typical second-child, poor dear), I definitely wanted to have it on camera, especially since Heath wasn't there.
Look how happy he is! Not a tear was shed! (Completely opposite of Cash's first haircut.)
He sat and played with curlers, smiled at the camera, and just chilled.
He didn't sit perfectly still, but she got the job done.
No more crazy curly hair in the back, and no long hair over the ears.
Yay for Baylen, and thanks to Freda! Here he is with his big-boy haircut! *sigh*
