Song sung BLUE

Remember how earlier this week we painted our toilet-paper crowns BLUE for our Advent ornaments?

It looked neat and clean in that Advent post, didn't it?

Well, it really wasn't all that neat, but we had a blast painting with our big, new paintbrushes!

Nice and neat starting off.

Keeping it on the crown.

See, mommy?

And then it all changed ...

Song sung blue
everybody knows one
 Song sung blue
every garden grows one
Me and you are subject to the blues now and then
But when you take the blues and make a song
You sing them out again
Sing them out again
Song sung blue...

*** My tribute to Neil Diamond, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, and just this week honored at the Kennedy Center Honors. Yes, I could sing most of his hits, thanks to my parents who played them nonstop while driving to New York every summer of my childhood.
