This morning we were so excited to see our deer in the yard enjoying some acorns for breakfast.
Yes, at about ten yards from the house, we watched as three does and two little ones munched their breakfast.
I love seeing them, especially the mama and two babies. They are the same ones that I watched this summer play in the front yard while the boys were playing on the front porch. We bonded - ha!
Definitely wouldn't have seen this kind of wildlife on Covington!
Cash was still sleeping 9 (at 8:15), but B was wide awake and stood on the counter to watch them. "Deers!" he said.
